Picking a good thumbnail frame

The best thumbnails show a clear face or subject, sharp focus and good contrast. Avoid frames in the middle of fast motion, where motion blur softens the picture, and frames with eyes half closed. Step a few frames forward or back from your first choice; the difference between a blink and a bright expression is often a single frame.
